FREE!?

Sorry guys, long time no posts. It seems like no one reads my blog anymore...so I'm gonna try to make it a bit more interesting. Life has gotten much better for me anyways. I'm going to 7th Grade next year..hard to believe, right? This year went by SO fast! Perhaps it was because it was the BEST YEAR EVER! Got a bunch a new friends, most of them happen to be my bffs. So far, its been a wonderous summer. I loved this week. My uncle came to visit us from West Virginia. We did lots of stuff, including swimming at the river, hangin with a friend, and going to Kings Dominion(the best place eva). I was not a fearless coaster rider...I was pretty much scared of EVERYTHING...until Monday. I rode the INTIMIDATOR 305!!! It is only the BEST COASTER EVER!!!! Ridden 3 times in this past week by ME!!! :D Every time I rode it on the first turn after the drop I blacked out. Be careful though, if you ride it once, you're sure to ride it again. I am now ADDICTED to it. From now on I'll try to post more, IF you guys read more. Deal? ;)

Mount Vernon

Today was presidents day, George Washington's b-day. Since Mount Vernon (George's house) had free admission only today, we decided to go there. It was my first time seeing the house and even going inside of it. The coolest thing about that was most of the things including the house were original! You should really look on going there sometime, there's even a museum!

Too Much Snow!

Wow, I can't even tell you how much snow I've gotten! At least two feet... maybe two and a half, but as you can tell from the picture that's alot! Although we've had lots of fun snowball fights and great sledding moments, everyone is getting pretty sick of the snow. School has been out for two weeks, and worse, everyone's been snowed in so we're all getting cabin fever. I was out of school today, and I'm wondering if I'll go tomorrow. On the bright side, getting a second Christmas break is pretty cool!:D

Just Chillin'

Sorry I haven't written in a while! I've been doing other things, but I'm just chillaxin right now. Everything is still going fine and I'm really excited about tomorrow and Friday. Betcha can't guess what's happening tomorrow! Gotta good answer? If you said it was my birthday, you're right! I'm turning twelve tomorrow. The only bad thing about tomorrow is that I have a stinky math benchmark. At least it's not gonna be all day! On Friday, I'm having my birthday party. The only thing I can tell you about it now is that it's gonna be great. Last week, I went to a Miley Cyrus concert. It was actually my birthday present from mom and dad. Sometime soon I will post about the concert. Well, it's getting kind of late so I better go to bed.

Middle School

Yo yo yo, peeps! This is 6th grader Cassie C posting on this nice evening. I am surviving middle school! It's not as bad as I thought it would be. I haven't been stressed out or anything, it's actually pretty easy. My teachers are all pretty awesome too. They all help me understand things well and they are very nice. Even though we don't have recess in middle school, it's really fun. I'm glad I don't have to be in one classroom like in elementary school. Sitting in one chair for the whole day is really boring. In middle school, I have more freedom. With more freedom, more responsibility comes. I haven't had a problem with anything though!

West Virginia Trip

We had tons of fun at West Virginia this time. I loved to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. Yesterday we had a family picnic. We played Badmitten and Volleyball and explored in caves. The day before that my mom, my memaw, and I went on a cool ghost tour. I thought the stories they told us were very cool and a little scary. It was funny and cute when we found a little black kitty during the tour. It was lost, but they called someone to rescue it. I thought it was pretty neat that a photographer for the newspaper and the West Virginia magazine followed my mom and I around, taking lots of pictures of us. I'm hoping to see us in them sometime. The dogs weren't half as bad as they usually are so it was a nice drive home. We got home earlier at about 3:00. The trip was great!
