Catching Up

Wow.....it's been a month since I've posted......that just shows how busy I've been since school let out! I guesswe've got some catching up to do. Let's go back to when school first let out. Last day was great, but extremely sad. Before the last bell rang in my middle school life we all cried and hugged each other. Alot of us are going to be seperated next year because we're going to different schools. The day ended up being fatastic anyways because later on that day my friends ad I went to KD. The following week my grandma from Texas came. She stayed with us until that Thursday. It was really fun having her over, and there were alot of funny moments we all had! After she left on Thursday, I had marching band practice. I love those people there so much!!! I'm looking forward to a great year with them all. That Friday, my family and I headed up to West Virginia. The weather was beautiful. The hummingbirds were flying around that patio and there were plants full of vegetables and flowers everywhere. One day in West Virginia, my grandpa took my brother, dad, and I down to the jail. Don't think wrongly of that, it was just to show us around, I promise! Anyways, he showed us how things work around the jail and he locked me in a cell. Alone. It was terrible fr the short 5 minutes I was in there! I don't understand how smeone could do that for years. I also got strapped in a restraint chair....next to another inmate. That was unbelievably awkward. The whole thing ended up being pretty fun and interesting though! After we got back from West Virginia,e all just took a little time to chill. On Tuesday I went downtown with Craig and went to band practice. It was a great day! Lots of fun, heat wasn't too bad, got to see my band peeples. Thursday was the worst. That was the day I had to get my wisdom teeth taken out. It was pretty horrible. The surgery itself was easy with all the laughing gas and meds I was on, but after that, I think I had just about the worst week of my life. I was constantly falling asleep, I was always on medicine. I couldn'teat ANYTHING, or even open my mouth. My face was swollen as big as a basket ball. In the middle of the night, I would wake up with an incredible firey pain in my mouth. It just.....sucked. After recovering for about a week, Saturday, we left for where I am now! At the moment I'm at the Outer Banks of North Carolina (OBX)!!!! We've been chillaxin at the beach, hanging out at the dunes, shopping, mini golfing, we even went on a dolphin tour a couple days ago! I'll talk about what I've been doing this week in another post, but hopefully this helped us catch up a little bit :)

The snow last night was an epic failure... so much for a blizzard. All it really did was sprinkle the grass a little bit. We started our drive home at about 12:00, and we got here just a little bit ago. The drive really wasn't all that bad, although I was pretty upset we had to leave my grandparent's house. I got to say bye to everybody except the little dog,  Buster, because I couldn't find him. Oh well, I'll see him again soon enough. We're gonna try to go back sometime on a three day weekend. That's not very long, but it's better than nothing! Anyway, now I'm at home unpacking Christmas presents. We got alot this year! I have a whole lot of Domos now, and a bunch of laptop stuff. I'm so glad my Memaw got me a mouse to go with this, because I really hate the touch mouse. I also have alot of candy I need to find a place for. I think I might put that in my stomach later ;D. I have way too many things to unpack.... I'm ready to go back to West Virginia!!!

Snow Starts

Tomorrow I'm supposed to come back to Virginia, but that might change! Here in West Virginia, it's starting to snow! I hope it blizzards so I don't have to go home! I have nothing against those of you back in Virginia at all, I just like spending my tie here doing absolutely nothing productive, lol. I love West Virginia! There's not many places to go, but it's still awesome with family and doing stuff outside. Anyways, I really hope there's a blizzard. Like seriously, I would kill for some snow right now. Who knows, it might be getting heavier as I type.... :]

One Topic

I think I may be the only one (Besides Adam Young of course) that has a blog that talks about random things and not just one specific topic. Most blogs I've read have one main topic and have a purpose. Also, many of the blogs I have read are serious an professional. I think my blog is unique because it doesn't have one main idea or purpose. The purpose can be whatever you want it to be! It could go from just being entertained, or maybe learning about some things I write about such a roller coasters or West Virginia. I hope you like the way I organize and write my blog! Well, I guess it's not really organized in any certain way like I said before, but that's the cool thing about my blog, you don't know what to expect! It's just a whatever kind of thing, you know? It gets my thoughts out and hopefully entertains or at least somewhat teaches you a few things. I luuuuv mah blog.

Sleeping Animals

I just LOVE to see sleeping animals, especially dogs and cats. They're so adorable! That's why I've been posting the pictures of my Memaw's sleeping dogs. It's the cutest when the animal is either fat or furry. I'ts the best when it's both! :) The dogs are having a lazy day, lucky for me. Sparky is ADORABLE when he sleeps. He's sooooo fluffy! Sparky is really special, because if you look at him really closely, you can see a heart on his nose. He was born with it too! Buster curls up in a ball when he sleeps. I love love LOVE them!

West Virginia 2 Missouri

Check! It took the ENTIRE DAY, but we made it. We left the dogs and crabs at my grandparents' house to save trouble. The ride was a little less boring than it normally would have been because my uncle made my brother and I a list of stuff to find on our way here. 10 bucks if we find everything from WV to TX :D we've found everything between WV and MO. I tell you what, the most BORING part of the drive was Kentucky and Illinois. There was absolutely nothing to look at! Just a few oil pumps and cows. I wish we could've checked out Chicago, but there definitely wasn't enough time for that. Know what my favorite part of the day was? Think think think.... It had something to do with FOOD and I haven't been there in YEARS. MY PARENTS FOUND A FAZOLI'S AND TOOK ME TO EAT THERE!!!! Ugh, I remember when I lived in Texas and they shut down the one I used to go to. I was HORRIFIED. This is the first time I've been to one since then. Oh, and if you live in a hole and don't know what Fazoli's is, it is an amazing Italian restaurant with the BESTEST BREADSTICKS IN DA WORLD. I ate so many I almost got sick. I also took one back here to save for breakfast tomorrow. Anyway, I'm staying at a Hilton and it is reaaaallllllly nice. This bed is comfy, and I'm super happy that I found a wi-fi connection in the bathtub. Wish me luck on the 10 hour drive to Texas tomorrow!

On a Journey to Texas

I'm at West Virginia right now, listening to Port Blue and laying in bed. I'm pretty upset that I left my Domo in the car and the dog peed on the blanket that I've slept on every night since about... Hmmm... FOREVER. There is noooo way I'm gonna get any sleep tonight. That's okay though, because I can just sleep on the way to Missouri tomorrow. This journey to Texas is soooo boring. HOWEVER, I'm really excited to get to the hotel in Missouri! We're staying at a really nice Hilton. Maybe me and my brother can run around the lobby and pretend we're British, like we did in New York. Gooooood times.

Back in Va

I had a spleeeeeendid time in West Virginia. There was a nice fireworks show last night for the Oak Leaf festival. I also went shopping at the Mall in Beckley with my mom and grandma. Sadly I had to return home from my short vacation :(. School's tomorrow, I just got finished wi th my homework. Time to clean my room and straighten my hairrrrr!

State Fair

I just got back from the West Virginia State Fair. It was tons of fun! We got to ride things, have snacks, and see animals. Most of the people there looked like hillbillies though... my family might have been the nicest looking there, lol. Everyone had a huge accent. One girl had gotten off a ride and leaned over the grass, puked, and walked away like nothing happened. Very strange... but again, it was lots of fun. Josh and I rode a small coaster, a flying ride, and something sorta like the scrambler at kings dominion. We ate pizza and a big bucket of fries that my family and I all shared. After we ate we headed towards the animals. I had never seen bunnies that big in my life!!! They were SOOOOO CUTE THOUGH! I wanted them so bad.... they were so FLUFFAY! We also saw pigs.... i hated them though... lol. 1. They smelled HORRIBLE 2. Lazy 3. SCARY. There were some mad pigs... they were screaming and throwing fits. Moving on. We saw cows. They were oka I guess.. but I had a terrible fear of getting kicked. Where the cows were there were also longhorns. I really liked those. We saw a few goats with their owners walking around, but one of the best things I saw were the llamas. They looked so sophisticated. Iwanted to hug one really bad, but I also didn't want to get spit on. One last cool thing was the sheeps. They were shaved, but still felt really soft when you touched them. Their faces were so cute! Well, that pretty much sums up my trip to the state fair. Hmm... wonder what Va's gonna be like..... :)

Not the Best Night

I was so happy yesterday until I realized after my 5 hour ride to West Virginia, I forgot my pajamas. Of all the things I could have forgotten. So, I'm stuck here wearing a pair of boxers and one of my loose shirts. I ended up falling asleep at 12:30, due to my lack of the ability to get comfy, and my allergy problems. Woke up about 20 minutes ago to find that my alarm didn't go off at 8:00. Only because I woke up at 7:20. I wasn't planning on getting up any earlier, but no going back to bed now. Hopefully today will make up for it...

This Fine Thursday

I so siked for today! I'm gonna hang out with a very good friend of mine and later in the day I'll be leaving for West Virginia. I still have to pack up though....shh! I was supposed to pack up yesterday, but you know... there's that occassional thing that distracts you. Ha! A little random but I found out the Intimidator 305 is ranked the US's top coaster on CBS news. Wonderful! I love that thing, lol. There's also, yet ANOTHER reason why I'm siked. Tomorow's Friday 13! Finally another one! Anyone scared? ;)

West Virginia Trip

We had tons of fun at West Virginia this time. I loved to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. Yesterday we had a family picnic. We played Badmitten and Volleyball and explored in caves. The day before that my mom, my memaw, and I went on a cool ghost tour. I thought the stories they told us were very cool and a little scary. It was funny and cute when we found a little black kitty during the tour. It was lost, but they called someone to rescue it. I thought it was pretty neat that a photographer for the newspaper and the West Virginia magazine followed my mom and I around, taking lots of pictures of us. I'm hoping to see us in them sometime. The dogs weren't half as bad as they usually are so it was a nice drive home. We got home earlier at about 3:00. The trip was great!
